Faith Church is an active presence in the community, offering a variety of ministries and programs.

A large number of youth meet as 20th Faith Scouting, with Cubs meeting on Monday evenings, Beavers meeting on Tuesday evenings, Venturers meeting on Wednesday evenings, Scouts meeting on Thursday evenings, and Rovers meeting at agreed times throughout the year. Our Scouting groups take responsibility each year for a service celebrating Scout Sunday.

Faith Church offers emergency relief to the community through our Food Pantry which is stocked through member contributions. The Food Pantry is open twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday morning.

Faith Lutheran Church boasts a very large and active world-relief ministry driven by a dedicated group of ladies.  Primarily, the group’s purpose is to sew by machine, blankets for those living in adverse conditions, like refugee camps and poverty-stressed regions, and in the wake of natural disasters.

With a strong and active history of refugee sponsorships and resettlement tracing back to 1980 and before, Faith Lutheran Church most recently welcomed a South Sudanese family of five on March 10, 2016.  This family had been refugees in Lebanon for over 10 years.  Our financial commitment and resettlement support is for at least one full year, but we expect our friendship to far outlast that year.

Other community groups also make use of the facilities of Faith Church from time to time throughout the year.
