ANNOUNCEMENTS
Call to Worship: Come, Now is the Time to Worship (See Insert)
Confession and Forgiveness:
God of Mercy and Forgiveness,
We confess that our selfish ways still have a hold upon us.
We have harmed your good creation.
We have failed to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with you.
Turn us in a new direction.
Show us the path that leads to life. Be our refuge and strength on the journey,
Through Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and friend
Amen.
Gathering Hymn: ELW 720 We Are Called.
Prayer of the Day:
Let us pray together the prayer of the day.
God of all kinds of wealth, wealth of spirit, of creation, of relationships, and joy. We pray that you may guide us in our decisions and our paths in this complicated world. Turn our minds to your wisdom and our hearts to your grace. Grace revealed in your Son, Jesus Christ.
Word

Psalm: 113 (Read Responsively)
From the rising of the sun to its setting,
the name of the Lord is to be praised.
Who is like the Lord our God,
who is seated on high,
who looks far down
on the heavens and the earth?
He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the ash heap,
to make them sit with princes,
with the princes of his people.
He gives the barren woman a home,
making her the joyous mother of children.
Praise the Lord!
