Procession Music: We Have a God Who Keeps Us
We have a God who keeps us on the road that we should go, By whatever name we call him, he’s the one that we all know. He is Father, Christ our Saviour, Holy Spirit, light and guide. Our one and only Lord,
We will praise his name forever, we will praise his name forever, we will praise his name forever, our one and only lord.
With our brothers and our sisters, every colour, race and creed. There is Guiding there is scouting, in all countries that are free. Every Ranger, every Pathfinder can go to him in need.
Our one and only Lord, (Refrain)
He’s the God of every Beaver, Spark and Venturer and Cub,
and he shows the Scouts and Brownies how to pass around his love. as he leads the guides and Rovers and all people everywhere
Our one and only Lord, (Refrain)
He’s the one who lead our Founder to that isle across the sea,
There to plant the little acorn that became the great oak tree,
That is spreading out from Brownsea down the years to you and me. Our one and only Lord, (Refrain)
Welcome and Affirmation of Scouting Promise:
We are gathered, Lord, come by here. In your presence, Lord, come by here As we worship, Lord, come by here.
O Lord, come by here.
Make us humble, Lord, come by here. Make us loyal, Lord, come by here. Make us courteous, Lord, come by here. O Lord, come by here.
Make us useful, Lord, come by here. In the truth, O Lord, come by here.
Of your word, O Lord, come by here. O Lord, come by here.

Skit on the Lord’s Prayer and Message: Song of the Day: Thank You Lord
Thank you, Lord, on this day, for our many good blessings. Thank you, Lord, on this day, For our many close friendships.
Glory to God may you hear our prayers, guide us on forever. Thank you, Lord, on this day, For our blessings and friendships.
Lord who died, lord who rose, grant that your way be my way. Spirit of God, wind that blows, walk with us on the highway.
Glory to God may you hear our prayers, grant that your way be my way
Spirit of God, wind that blows, walk with us on the highway.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive, those who trespass against us.
and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen
Affirmation of Faith: Let us affirm our faith with Words of abundance.
We believe in a Creative God,
who clothes the wildflowers, dressing them splendidly.
A God who is the true Friend of all creatures great and small. Who feeds beavers and bear cubs, and even slithering snakes.
We believe in the extravagant God, who goes the extra mile through the forest path to bring healing with every touch. We believe in a God of present spirit, a source of abundance
whose presence is with us wherever we turn and no matter what we do. Amen.
Offertory Song: Land of the Silver Birch
Land of the silver birch, home of the beaver
Where still the mighty moose wanders at will
Blue lake and rocky shore, I will return once more. Boom-diddy-ah-da, Boom-diddy-ah-da, bo-oo-oom
High on a rocky ledge, I¹ll build my wigwam
Close to the water’s edge silent and still
Blue lake and rocky shor,e I will return once more
Boom-diddy-ah-da, Boom-diddy-ah-da, bo-oo-oom
My heart grows sick for thee, here in the lowlands. I will return to thee hills of the north
Blue lake and rocky shore I will return once more. Boom-diddy-ah-da, Boom-diddy-ah-da, bo-oo-oom
Sharing of the Peace & Benediction Blessing: Sending Hymn: BP Spirit.
I’ve got that BP Spirit deep in my heart,
deep in my heart, deep in my heart.
I’ve got that BP Spirit deep in my heart, deep in my heart to stay.
I’ve got that BP spirit all around my head
all around my head, all around my head
I’ve got that BP Spirit all around my head, all around my head to stay.
I’ve got that BP spirit all over me, all over me, all over me,
I’ve got that BP spirit, all over me, all over me to stay
Don’t walk ahead of me I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead.
Walk beside me and be my friend.
