ANNOUNCEMENTS

Kyrie: Pg. 184 ELW

Thanksgiving for Baptism: Joined to Christ in the waters of Baptism, we are clothed with God’s mercy and forgiveness. Let us Give Thanks for the gift of baptism.

We give you thanks O God, for in the beginning, you created us and placed us in a well-watered garden. In the desert, you promised pools of water for the parched, and you gave us water from the rock. When we did not know the way, you sent the Good Shepherd to lead us to still waters. On this day, you shower us again with the water of life.

Gathering Hymn: ELW 654 The Church’s One Foundation

Prayer of the Day: Let us pray together the prayer of the day.

Gracious Lord, we thank you that your holy spirit renews the church in every age. Pour out your holy spirit on your people. Keep us steadfast in your word, protect us in times of trial, and bestow on the church all throughout the world your saving peace. Through Jesus Christ, our saviour. Amen.

the holy habitation of the most high.

God is in the midst of the city which shall not be moved,

God will help it at the dawn of the day.  (Refrain)

Be still and know that I am God, I am exalted among the nations; I am exalted in the earth The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. (Refrain)
